Health

Szumeria Kuvasz is dedicated to breeding healthy, happy, well adjusted dogs. We believe in verifiable health clearances and we publish all health clearances for our dogs to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals and Canine Health Information Center sites. We adhere to the Kuvasz Club of America CHIC requirements for hips, elbows and thyroid testing prior to breeding. Additional testing may include Cardiac, PRA, Patella and Eyes, Degenerative Myelopathy.

A reputable breeder will welcome questions about health and will be happy to provide information that will assist you in making a decision about the dog that will become a member of your family.
